We're not forcing our opinions on you... just sharing what it feels like from a positive side. We all know it's not always a good outcome... but other times it truly is a blessing.Sterling Bohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12867789978566730202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19397583.post-6481768707188845162010-11-10T17:36:41.014+01:002010-11-10T17:36:41.014+01:00What a ridiculous comment. Thank you! Brings a tear to my eye as I am flitting in and out of various 'cafes' at the moment.

It's definitely worth remembering that the angry rails are mostly the minority. There's truth in the old retail adage: "When a customer has a positive experience, they might tell 2-3 people, but when they have a bad experience, they'll tell 10-12 people"

Bad news definitely sparks more interest than the good news, which is why the bad news _appears_ to be the majority, but it isn't. If the good outcomes were the abberation, _that's_ what you'd hear about the most. Because the bad is so rare, that's what makes it 'news'.

While we should still work to eliminate the bad experiences, we should definitely remember that for the overwhelming majority, adoption continues to be the positive experience, with the best outcomes for _all_ the people involved, the adoptive parents, the birth parents, and , most importantly, the child.Kat Hardynoreply@blogger.com
