I got a message from our caseworker today - our homestudy is complete. We are {{FINALLY}} officially approved to adopt!!
It only took 207 days (just a few days shy of 7 months).

That is wonderful! I bet it feels great. Scott and I were so excited when we were finally approved. I don't know if you are going through LDS Family Services or not, but we used their website and also a site called Parent Profiles. We got the most responses (and scams, so be careful) from Parent Profiles.com. I don't know that we ever heard about a contact that we got directly from LDS Family Services.

And I made up a flavor: Cinnamon ice cream, chocolate ice cream, raspberries, roasted almonds and choc syrup. It was ok...next time I wold trade the cinnamon ice cream for sweet cream or cheesecake.
