I have been on the search for coasters for a while. I have yet to find ones that I like so I decided to make my own. I found a set of six of these beauties on clearance for $3.
I cut some beautiful Toile scrapbook paper to fit the coaster. I used an inkpad to age the edges, then I put a layer of Mod Podge on top. Afterwards I glued a square of black felt on the back.
Here are the finished coasters.
All stacked inside their cute container.
Oh, and if you want to make some, it would help if you had one of these:

I think you should look for a job in the creative world. You certainly have a knack for it! How did the table turn out?
I am sure Winnie helped a lot!

Gorgeous! Man, you could be selling this crap, you know that? I know because I'm the sort of person who would buy them. Very awesome look.
And I got your package the other day. Thank you! You'll be getting a proper note in the mail as soon as I remember to write it. It is coming though, I swear. :) We all do have your new address, right?
Love it!!! Great job, looks fantastic!! Oh and by the way, I kind of have one of those... LOL Except she is a Shitz tzu puppy, named Haylee. She is always trying to help. LOL
Keep up the great ideas.. I can't wait for when I move and have to start fresh on things...
Such a great idea. So creative! Love it!
You ARE Martha! Those are incredible! I envy anyone who finishes a project they start. And you not only finish, but are talented to boot!
